Today was D day - something we have been excited/worried about all week, the biggie - Crufts Semi Final! I went in thinking I didn't stand a chance and just wanted us to try our best. Cas was so barky when we went in the ring at lunch to practice so I clipped her lead on and took her out everytime. Our class was last and we were 4th in. Walked into the ring and Cas forgot what a bow was and lay down - great start I thought. But then we started and she worked like a dream, I couldn't feel her getting wound up to bark at all - she had 3 little barks, that's all! I do admit to messing up a couple of times as I moved onto the next move too quickly. However we came 7th and qualified for Crufts next Thursday!!!!!! Woooo!!! It does mean I am going to miss Rum's agility I think - boo hoo, but hey we're in the main ring!!!

Let me introduce myself a bit here. I'm Amber-Mae & I'm Malaysia's only dancing Golden Retriever. I know, isn't that sad? Canine Musical Freestyle is a very new & unknown sport here in Malaysia. There are only two dancing dogs here in Malaysia. One is my JRT friend who is a total pro & me.
I'm also in the advanced stage like my friend but I tend to get tired quite easily especially under the hot sun. I too sometimes walk off stage, heehee! Oh well!
I'm also highly OB trained & now in Intermediate level & I also do Agility & Flyball. I have two sistas & they are Chloe & Faith. They are not as good as me though but they too are OB trained & Chloe is a beginner in dancing. I can do over 30 tricks. I can do the 'elephant' trick too like you did in your dance routine.
I love to eat anything & I'm fixated with tennis balls! They're my security blanket. I love making new friends but I'm a male-hater. Hope none of you are males...
Anyway, do drop by my bloggie sometime aight? Watch some of my vids too. Ofcourse, I'm not as good as you guys becoz I'm no agile dog & I can be quite clumsy at times. I'm no fast runner & I can't go on for too long under the sun. Malaysia is freaking HOT!
